This was a song that flew under my radar until I went back to listen to each track and I realized after the really busy intro, it has one of the best hooks in the game. This was probably the busiest cover I've done in a long time, the original had a ton of backing leads and I wanted to make sure I represented all of them as much as I could. I spent a substantial amount of time on just mapping out all of the backing lines and arranging them to work with everything else going on. I've also really been working on tightening up the low end in my mixes. Lately I've sacrificed a lot of the heavy bass in my songs to gain more clarity with the kick and bass. I'm working really hard to still have low end in the rhythm guitar, but I think I really like the direction these mixes are going. Hope you do to!
