Tosh the Drummer - Live Drum Recording Session Using TouchMix

This video shows Tosh Peterson, aka Tosh the Drummer, recording drum tracks live from his home studio for Bri Tolani's song, "I Want Out of LA." Tosh the Drummer has performed Machine Gun Kelly, Bad Bunny, Lil Nas X, Young Thug, Jaden Hossler and many others. Here's a quick step by step of Tosh's recording process: 1. Import MP3 or WAV file of the song into Garage Band Template - set up and configured to record his drums. Here are his drum microphone inputs connected to the TouchMix-30 Pro: (1) Kick, (2) Snare Top, (3) Snare Bottom, (4) Rack Tom, (5) Floor Tom, (6) Overhead Right, (7) Overhead Left, (8) Hi-Hat, (9) Room 2. Listen to song a few times and make a few notes. 3. Press record and play drums. 4. Record a second take. He simply copies the song again in the session after the first take, and records to the second instance of the song. This way there are two takes of the song back to back within the same session. 5. We Transfer the Garage Band File (with recorded wav files) to the artist or producer. That's it!
