Going back to the basics of ground effect using an EPP Foam bodied Ground Effect glider. Ground Effect Vehicles use aerofoils to skim just above water or ground, they are also know as as a WIG's or Ekranoplans. It is is built roughly in the proportions of a hovercraft hull, first fitted with four identically sized balsa wings, then after some consultation with aircraft experts and using a aerofoil design computer program, these wings were replaced with high lift coefficient wings cut from EPP foam in conjunction with canards and a new tail. The increase in lift is noticable and since then, our work has progressed onto powered models, such as here: /watch/MvHrEIsoCNWor
