Ingredients
Onion 1
15-20 cloves of garlic
2-3 green chilies
Whole garam masala
Green cardamoms 2pc ,cloves 3pc , cinnamon stick 1
Ginger 2 inch
Add all these ingredients and make a paste .
Now add all dry masala with these paste
Add 1 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder , 1 tsp coriander powder and 1 tsp cumin powder . Add 2 tbsp curd and mixed all ingredients together. Our masala paste is ready
Chicken 600gm
Oil 4tbsp
Onion slices
Potato cut into big cube (I take one big size onion)
One small size tomato (chopped)
Cooking process
Marinate the chicken with our previously prepared masala paste and 2tbsp oil . keep it aside for minimum 1 hour, you can keep it more than one hour . Now add 2 tbsp mustard oil in a kadai , add pinch of turmeric powder and salt , fry the potato cube . Keep it aside . Now in same oil add the marinated chicken , we marinated the chicken with masala so here we don’t need to add extra masala . Cooked it 5 minutes in high flame then cooked it in low flame . Now add a chopped tomato and add salt , cover it and cook for more 5-7 minutes in low flame , stir it occasionally a. Add the fried potato with it and cooked for another 10 minutes by covering lid. . If you want it dry (kosha) then don’t add water to it and if you want it curry type then add hot water as required , and let it boil for 5-7 minutes . Sprinkle some garam masala and switch off the flame, cover it sometime before serving. Then serve it hot with rice , paratha or naan .
