@listerdave1240قبل 6 أشهر eNodeB is just what most people are actually referring to when they say 'Cell tower'. Whenever you are connected to 4G you are using an eNodeB id="hidden2" class="buttons"> somewhere nearby. It is just the technical term for a cellular base station inn 4G / LTE. The eNodeB in the Starlink satellite will just be electronics that are functionally equivalent to the equipment in the 'cell towers' that you use every day. ....وسعت 4

@maxmustermann9858قبل 6 أشهر Incredible how far radio technology has come. We had sat phones for years but now using an smartphones which clearly wasn’t designed to connect to a satellite is just amazing. I’m a big tech nerd especially when it comes to RF Technology so I’m super curious how this works under the hood, not just that it’s using LTE, I mean the really deep and dark stuff like antennas, frequency shift etc. ....وسعت 9

@crackerpack4186قبل 6 أشهر This is going to be great actually. There’s so much to benefit from this that people don’t realize. Being able to use data anywhere on the planet would allow other industries to innovate and help as well. For example the medical industry could utilize this in areas where communication is limited and where disease outbreaks are common which may limit the amount of personnel able to be there. Space X is doing great and honestly solving a lot of problems they didn’t think that they would. ....وسعت 26
