Furious Arsenal, Liverpool, Leeds and Tottenham fans protest European Super League plot outside stadiums with more supporters to follow Arsenal, Liverpool and Leeds supporters Protest against European Super League, Chelsea and Mancherster City made threat Leeds and Liverpool protest Fans of Leeds and Liverpool have joined up ahead of their Premier League clash tonight to protest the ESL. A banner, attached to the back of an aeroplane which reads "Say no to the super league", is being flown over Elland Road prior to kickoff. Supporters are also stood outside of the stadium holding up another banner which was shown to the team's coaches as they arrived. Arsenal fans have congregated at the Emirates Stadium tonight to protest against Stan Kroenke and the Super League plans. Fans were filmed outside the stadium singing 'we want Kroenke out' along with several banners with one reading "Shame on you AFC!! RIP Arsenal 1888-2021." You can see the footage above. Arsenal fans have followed the likes of fans from Leeds United and Liverpool, who have taken to Elland Road and Anfield respectively to pin up protest banners and voice their concerns today. It is reported that each club that has accepted an invitation to join the Super League would receive up to £350million, and it's claimed all of that money has to be spent on infrastructure rather than transfer fees. Nevertheless, the move would allow many of the 'elite clubs' to gain an advantage over those who would not have the opportunity to join the competition. Man Utd player reaction Manchester United's players are reportedly angry over not being informed that the club are joining the European Super League. Ed Woodward held an emergency zoom meeting with the players this morning, according to the Daily Mail. And they are frustrated that they had to find out the controversial manoeuvre at the same time as the general public. Chelsea and Man City threat made UEFA executive committee member Jesper Moller wants Chelsea, Real Madrid and Man City to be kicked out of this season's Champions League.
