Teen arrested for fatal gunshot at California councilwoman's home | US News | NewsRme Police in California have identified the shooter as a 19-year-old guy who opened fire on a party at a councilwoman's home, killing one person and injuring three others. Benjamin David Calderon, of Gilroy, was charged with homicide after a SWAT squad raided his residence late Sunday night. According to accounts, shots were fired during an outdoor party at the house of Gilroy Councilwoman Rebeca Armendariz shortly before 1 a.m. on Saturday. Authoritieis claim that Calderon opened fire after getting into a scuffle at the party, killing four people aged 17 to 19.
