Crowdfunded Comic (Spoiler) Review: Kamen America: Vol 1: Stars & Strife

Hey guys! I'm back from a long hiatus with a new Crowdfunded comic! And more to come after this! Timothy Lim and Mark Pellegrini are back again (wow those guys chug these things out fast without a loss of quality) with a new Comic Heroine! Kamen America! Carly Vanders (look at what that name sounds like) was a girl who was told girls should do more guy stuff and not do much girly stuff. But she ignored that (with encouragement from her dad) to make her way into Modeling/Fashion! But after a strange incident involving a meteorite grants her the ability to transform into a blonde bombshell with amazing powers, she decides to become a hero! And she is named...WARHEN! Yeah the character we sall in Wall-Might First Term Part 2, that's her! (No reference is made to her being transformed into Karl Manvers) but after a falling out with her media company (they wanted to "Push the agenda" more!) she took off on her own and became Kamen America! And after that her first major battle in her new identity is against a Russian equivalent of herself! What transpires is an amazing action sequence (there's a lot of that in here) before we wrap things up with a hint off to a crossover with another Tim Lim creation! This book is pretty damn fun! It's not as political as Wall-Might (well not POLITICAL political, it is still focusing on the Culture War side of things) the art work, as always from Tim Lim, is really good and Pellegrini's writing is spot on! I can't wait for future adventures!
