Today we're getting Thunder, Lightning, and Rain. Nice after the 100 degree temps earlier in week. Always nice when you can rescue a plant you like. Orchids are hardier than given credit for. They bloom every spring id="hidden14" class="buttons"> for me. I have them in coconut coir lined baskets with a bark mix. Enjoyed hearing your Vanda story. I try to get my orchids to respond to treatment when they are ailing. If they don't respond they go to the bin. How long will that Stanhopea stay in flower? Is it fragrant? I have a Darwinara - been trying to get it to grow for at least three years. Just put it on a JustOneMoreOrchid mount. We'll have to see how it responds. Can't wait for another Funky Tree Friday.
