This is the most important and most wanted Dry Chutney Powder which is demanded by all.. This is a chutney without which the breakfast and a meal in South India is incomplete. when the People from other parts of India visits South India they definately try this Dry Chutney or Podi Chutney of SouthIndia. It is also known as Malligai Podi, GunPowder, Podi Chutney. This can be served as a side Dish with Idlis, Dosas, Rice, Vadas, Chillas and many other South Indian Food or even with North Indian Foods too. The Paste is prepared by mixing of Pure Ghee or Seasame Oil or sometimes we can also mix with Mustard Oil too. Though Mustard Oil is not used in South India but I have tried it personally and can recommend with that too.. Just what are you waiting for just prepare this Dry Chutney Powder and keep it for longer days so whenever you are in hurry just mix with Ghee or Oil and serve with Idlis, Dosas, Rice, Chillas, etc. Ingredients: Urad Dal - 2 Cups Chana Dal - 1 cup White Seasame seeds - 1/4 cup Bedagai/ Degi Chilli Whole - 20 - 22 Nos.
