And prior to Northwestern, Buckeye fans unanimously believed Trey Sermon was a dumpster fire! This is the tape Clemson watched and prepared around. And were SHOCKED! We all were. Plenty of unknown variables & wrinkles about the Buckeyes which make them unpredictable. I see that as an advantage. ... 3

I have since followed OSU and I can tell you there are tangibles where you nailed it, but you missed coaching. Yes, Saban is a living legend and OSU has a mountain to climb, but Ryan Day is one of the greatest offensive coaches I have seen. His game plan against Clemson was flawless. Look at the quick snaps, sugar huddles with late breaks. Venables was guessing all night. He has Fields and a solid OL/DL to carry out his plan. OSU will be in this game. Toss up. Go Bucks!!!! ...

In that time, Bama has won 12 national championships. They've had 11 other seasons in which they lost only one game. In several of those years, they went undefeated until they lost their bowl game or a national championship game. So Bama was just one win per season from having 23 championships.
They've had 12 other years in which they lost two games. So that's 35 of the last 60 years where they've lost two or fewer games. ...

They didn't get their normal practice season which is damn near the whole off season, so they seemed to be learning and getting better as they played games. The Northwestern game had 20 players and 2 coaches out including Olave which is Fields favorite target.
This is something I know about my team! If you throw shade at the Buckeyes on a Public level for the world to see, THEY WILL BEAT YOU! Baker did it at Oklahoma and called their Defense BASIC. Ohio State went and beat them! Michigan had a REVENGE TOUR which Ohio State CANCELED because they guaranteed a win Publicly! We beat them BAD that year! DABO made a enormous error! When he ranked OSU 11th and publicly ran his mouth 3 times in interviews.......... I just smiled inside because I knew Dabo lit the fuse!
I understand what he's saying but if we can beat Clemson (who should start next year in the 12th spot) like that, WE CAN BEAT ANYONE! IJS! ... 1

@nickjohnson77133 years ago This game will be like the 2018 National Championship game. OSU will be bama in this situation while the TIDE will be similar to Clemson. In 2018, even though they won by a double digit score, bama had to play the entire game chasing around Kyler and having to keep putting points on the board to maintain the lead. They ran out of gas defensively after that game. Even though the recent game btwn OSU and Clemson ended in blowout fashion, OSU put it all on the line, played a close to perfect game, and had some of the best bulletin board material money can buy. Bama on the other hand coasted through ND just as Clemson did in 18. Game was over at half, players got to rest/stay healthy, and the playbook was very vanilla. Bama knew it was in the bag before it started and I’m pretty sure preparation started for both the other teams during that same week. Just like Clemson I’m sure already had the Bama game plan learned front and back (ND is a joke of a team by the way). Also in 18, Clemson had just got spanked by Bama the year before in the Sugar Bowl so bad that 1st round picks wanted to come back for revenge (the entire D line). Similar to Bama wanting to get revenge for 14 against OSU and win another Natty (Cough cough...... Devonta Smith, Najee Harris). I feel like all these elements will play a factor in this matchup, on top of Bama just being the better team. I have this game 49-24 Bama. ...
