Ingredients :
Baby potato - 500 gm ( boil in 1 whistle )
Green peas - 75 gm
( Onion - 2 medium
Ginger - 1 1/2 inch
Garlic - 7 to 8
Green chilli - 2 )
All of this paste together
Tomato - 1big ( paste)
Cinnamon stick - 2 small
Cardamom - 2
Cloves - 2
Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 2 tsp
Red chlli powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Bay leaf
Coriander leaves - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Mustared oil
Methods :
1. Prick the boil potatoes with fork
Add salt turmeric & red chlli powder
Mix it properly
2. Ready to fry
3. Turn on the flame , heat a pan..
4. Add oil into the pan, let the oil heat.
5 . Put the potatoes into the hot oil..
6. Shallow fry the potatoes on medium flame.
7. Fry it for 2 to 3 minutes on medium flame..
8. Take it out on a plate..
9. Add oil again.
10. Once the oil is heated , add whole spices..
11. Stir it for few seconds
12. Add onion , Ginger , garlic , green chili paste.
13. Fry it for 2 minutes
14. Add cumin powder, turmeric powder & red chilli powder ..
15. Stir it ( add little water if required )
16. Add green peas.
17. Add tomato paste , fry it
Add salt & sugar . Mix it..
18. Add fried potatoes and mix it well..
19. Add 1/2 cup water stir it
20. Cover the pan and leave it for 10 min
21. Open the lid , add coriander leaves & garam masala powder.. stir it & turn off the flame .
22 cover the pan & leave it for 5 minutes again.
23. Serve it with pulao / paratha
