Disclosure: This game copy was bought by the reviewer. This is a very repetitive (mostly due to the lack of enemy attack variations and limited mission variety) action RPG with four classes. Enemy variations are limited until you get into the veteran range and the bosses are basically tougher mid level enemies until later on when the more intense attack patterns get implemented. Skills are all available from the beginning with them getting upgraded in the mission and resetting each time. Loot determines your level and unlocks newer difficulty ranges as collected materials unlock a gear piece's additional effects. All of this would make for a standard, if bland, action RPG, if not for the bugs. As you can see during the last mission played, Cass becomes unable to attack or dodge. I have experienced the same problem during my further testing and while it can fix itself when you are downed/revived, you cannot do this if your playing solo. Getting stuck is common as well, especially if you get unlucky and have an enemy spawn into existence at your feet. Other issues (that are more based on play style) would be the amount of loot rewarded. You can get gear from chests, but they mostly drop credits or materials specific to the zone/level range of the mission. The credits can then be spent to purchase specific gear pieces to help level up. Gear also have specific traits that can increase abilities or provide unique bonuses to create specific "builds", but the limited gear options make the builds equally limited. For the price, I just don't see much of a reason to recommend it. The crippling issue of not being able to attack/dodge is extremely frustrating and the lack of ability customization makes this one of the most streamlined action RPGs I have played since Wild Buster.
