Space Dying Yarn with Leftover Easter Egg Dye Tablets

Now that I know PAAS Easter Egg Dye Tablets don't have Citric Acid, let's use some leftover tablets to space dye some yarn with a LOT of vinegar! In this video, I dyed 100 g of KnitPicks Stroll Fingering Weight Yarn http://shrsl.com/xtmp (Affilaite Link) with the dye tablets left over from Dyepot Weekly #52. VIDEO CONTENTS: [0:00] Introduction, the dye is leftover from Dyepot Weekly #52 [0:27] Setting up the dyepot - Stroll fingering weight yarn presoaked in plain tap water. + Presoak water that had 10 cups of water + 1 cup of white vinegar. (Approximately) 1 cup of water = 16 Tablespoons vinegar. This is NOT low immersion. [1:45] Adding the leftover Easter Egg Dye Tablets to the pot [3:32] 10 min after adding the dye [4:21] After ~20 min. turn off the heat and let this cool of in the pot for another 10-20 min. [5:01] After 20 min of cooling remove the yarn. The dyebath is clear!
