Eye of the Jailer Normal and Eye of the Jailer Heroic guide! Eye of the Jailer is a raid boss in the Sanctum of Domination raid of Shadowlands. According to the dungeon journal for this fight, the Eye of the Jailer was actually Odyn's eye at one point. This fun fact will take you places. This Eye of the Jailer boss guide will show you the Eye of the Jailer abilities that you'll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Eye of the Jailer fight. Mythic Eye of the Jailer has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Eye of the Jailer guide. Footage of Eye of the Jailer for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Sanctum of Domination raid releases on live servers starting July 6th. The key to Eye of the Jailer in Phase One is avoiding swirls and using the Grappling Points to escape the Annihilating Glare death beam. It's worth noting that the later mechanic Desolation Beam is not the death beam, even if it sounds like it really should be. At 75%, 50% and 25% a pair of Deathseeker Eye adds come out. Tank them at least 30 yards apart and bring them down evenly. During the add phase, stay to the edges to drop puddles out of the way, healers dispel the Sloithful Corruption and get space with the Spreading Misery circle. On Normal, there is absolutely no circle in this fight that you want to be in if you can help it. On Heroic, Stygian Abductors target players with a Dragging Chains ring that you do want to get in to help out. More players in the Dragging Chains means a slower pull, which saves lives.
