@TomMarvanمنذ 3 سنوات Very cool! OCR technology has of course been available with scanners and their software for 25 years, but is amazing when applied on your device. For Note id="hidden2" class="buttons"> users (or Ultra 21 users like me) who have a stylus, you can use the Smart select feature using your pen to select an area within the item visible on your screen (it doesn’t even have to be from the gallery), and then extract the text. You can then copy the text, or even share it immediately. Thank you for the great video! ....وسعت 1

With Samsung id="hidden3" class="buttons"> gearing up to discontinue many cloud features, will we have to worry about being able to continue uploading/using Samsung Notes? I also use the very old version, "S Notes", from earlier days (many notes left from the old version), and do not wish to lose them! Not sure I'd use the copy text function as much. The translate option seems a lot more handy, to me anyway

@Gkitchens1منذ 3 سنوات You can also use smart select, simply drag and hit done, then hit extract text. It's more fun with stylus devices like the note 10 or tab s6, etc.

@jozzio720منذ 3 سنوات Several note phones back mabye around the galaxy note 4 or 5 the smart select tool used to let you extract text from your photos and if it was a phone id="hidden10" class="buttons"> number or address etc it would let you save it to contacts or call the number I think that was called action memos feature but it was a great feature that they took away along with some other great features like the clip bin for smart select captures or the ability to flip a photo on the gallary over and take a note on the back side. Not sure why they trash really useful features and replace it with something more difficult to use. Would be nice if they would bring some lf these features back. T hi is was back when we had the yellow sticky note action memo feature ....وسعت

@AFV85منذ 3 سنوات Google lens is what I use for reading different languages it links toy s20 ultra camera when you hold your camera over the document it translated every id="hidden15" class="buttons"> on screen without having to snap a pic amd translating it, it just done it on screen with everything when hold.lens over the text etc it's very cool! I'm dad's tablet got hacked the other night to Chinese pinyin text we couldn't read it as soon as held my camera over the screen it Changed everything to English so I was able to press correct buttons amd read there program etc very handy indeed! ....وسعت
