@Sochsunالعام الماضي Of all the final endings, the Secret Ending Mission felt the most like an actual "this is it" mission. Lots of enemies, just you and your loadout, id="hidden2" class="buttons"> and the ever ticking down health bar. V and Johnny in actual sync.
All the others felt a bit hollow, or sad with the people who fall along the way.

@walkmansartالعام الماضي I resonate with the Star ending most because it feels like the cathartic resolution to such a personal journey, and for me, allows V to undergo a change, id="hidden3" class="buttons"> a character arc which all stories should have. At the beginning Dex asks you whether you'd rather "fade away" or die "in a blaze of glory". I chose the latter, trying to stroke his ego and feel better about myself as an up-and-coming merc with a lot to prove. But as you go along, losing friends and associates (Jackie, T-Bug, Evelyn, Saul), chase down different dead ends to stay alive, you meet/romance Judy and/or Panam. They are both worn down by the city's fake facade and false promises, and want to leave. You slowly come to realize that Night City isn't the "city of dreams", but a city of oppression and corruption, built on the hope that the few can rise above it all and become a 'legend'. The Star ending offers a meaningful escape, to look towards new horizons, accept death on your own terms, new beginnings and actually spend time with the people you want to be with. ....وسعت 896

@ZoeKavanaghالعام الماضي the panam ending with the Nomads uprising and Johnny going to the blackwall and you living out your last six months seems to be the most poetic ending and best in my opinion. 891

@my5headقبل 8 أشهر For me, the best ending is always where your V has transformed from where they began. Nomad V loses any semblance of being humble by storming Arasaka by id="hidden5" class="buttons"> himself and becoming a rich legend. Street Kid V starts out ambitious, but abandons that dream to let Johnny take the wheel and selflessly gives him a second chance at life. Corpo V has been humbled and leaves Night City with his newfound love and family. ....وسعت 104

@happyninja42العام الماضي I think my personal favorite "best" ending is Don't Fear the Reaper, V Keeps His Body, without any love interest. I'm basing it on the id="hidden6" class="buttons"> idea of minimizing death/harm to the supporting cast, and trying to allow for the most return visits of people in CP 2077 part 2 (that theoretical sequel). If you choose this route, nobody dies, because you go in solo, Johnny is still technically "alive" but out beyond the Blackwall (and thus totally capable of showing back up as an npc in the sequel), AND you have V still rooted in Night City. V is still trying to find a way to remove the chip (running off to that space station.an excellent setting for the 2nd game. could go very Bioshock with it), so you could have the same main character between games. And since none of the supporting cast dies helping V storm Mikoshi, then any of them could show back up as well. Plus, you can still actually HELP everyone down this route, without having to have a breaking up scene with them in the epilogue. You can set up Panam with Saul as joint leaders of the Nomads, they are on good terms with V, and doing well in their new location. Judy is also out of Night City, but she's happy. Rogue is alive, and could help connect V to any of the oldschool plot lines they dig up to further push the connective tissue with the ttrpgs. And it also ties in the Mr. Blue Eyes plot line as well, a subplot to the game that you can easily miss if you skip some side jobs, or don't pay attention to some nearby npcs at certain points.
I would've picked the Aldecaldo ending, with a Panam romance, but that one has V just accepting his death in a few months, AND also leaving the most likely location to get any help to prevent his death. The secret ending, as a bachelor, feels the most "do no harm" to me, so I kind of like it as the "best" choice.

@TheBuccaneersFootbalقبل 11 أشهر I agree that the star ending and leaving with the aldecaldos is the best/feel good ending, even if it sorta sounds like a long shot. But with all of Panams id="hidden7" class="buttons"> contacts, not only is she gonna turn over every rock to find a cure but on the dam there’s a bird that flys past you kinda symbolizing life, seeing as there aren’t any other life forms in NC besides humans. Another point kinda corny but seems valid, with Misty and her tarot cards she seems to be right in every reading and with the star ending she says we’re going to have a long life, so I’m picking that ending every time ....وسعت 63

@bakomushaالعام الماضي My gold ending is Nomad Lifepath, Star Ending, while romancing Judy. It's poetic as hell, book ends nicely, and I am sucker for it's themes. Also id="hidden10" class="buttons"> there is hope for V in that ending! A corporation has recently found a treatment for M.S! M.S. attacks the body the same way The Chip is! Granted the treatment is insanely expensive, but V's an Edgerunner, she has the means. ....وسعت 120

@jcnom6606قبل 7 أشهر The Don't Fear The Reaper ending is pure cyberpunk at it's finest, it's no wonder why people say it's the best ending, V and Johnny become id="hidden11" class="buttons"> one with that arm grab hand shake, Johnny gets to finally make a real dent to Arasaka and live up to the Legend that he made up in his head while saving the life of a friend and learning to respect the will of others and let go, V learned living and surviving aren't always one in the same and chooses to go out his way, never stop fighting (never fade away). Both parting ways with pieces of one another, V becomes the greatest NC legend since Blackhand but he is emptier, and more like Johnny by the end, the only thing that makes him feel alive is the feeling he had when Johnny was with him, death on his back. ....وسعت 32

@GeneralBulldog54العام الماضي I probably go with the Aldecaldos ending if playing as a Nomad. I get the vibe that in that character beat, V is just looking for family and finds it with id="hidden12" class="buttons"> Jackie, only to lose him and become aimless until Panam and the Aldecaldos come into her life. Plus with Judy already deadset on leaving Night City after what happened with Evelyn and the Clouds score, it fits with her dream as well (albeit a little dirtier).
That said, as a Street Kid it's got to be Don't Fear the Reaper. Drinking one to Jackie, like Rogue did for Johnny and going out on that last big score as owner of Afterlife. Jackie would be proud, especially now that he will remain a legend of the Afterlife.

@ODST_Parkerالعام الماضي Star fits nomad, Sun fits street kid, and Devil fits corpo, so those are my favorites respectively. Have a whole plan for a second and third character id="hidden13" class="buttons"> along those lines when I've finished replaying my nomad and getting the perfect setup for when Phantom Liberty comes out. Temperance, I'll probably do first on my street kid, since I want the achievement, then go back around and do the Reaper secret ending.
Star is by far my favorite, just because it perfectly encompasses what my first playthrough was and what I wanted my perfect character to be. Ride off into the sunset with Panam, leave the city and shit behind and live out the little life you have left in peace. The only thing I hate about it is the Aldecaldos being dragged along with you. They take casualties, and not just Saul. it reminds me of a thing from The Walking Dead (show or game, can't remember) about a group dying one after another to get this person out of a shit situation. They eventually get them out, but it turns out they were bitten anyway, so they all died for nothing. Makes you wonder, was it worth it in the end? Is V's short life worth their sacrifice?

@abdelali9279العام الماضي I remember watching Edgerunners and wondering why Adam Smasher offered David to become a "construct" I thought he meant a corpo cyborg like him, but after playing 2077 I realized he wanted to put David's soul into Mikoshi, and as it is mentioned in-game, "that's a fate worse than death", and after a second watch, the ending was still sad but at least I know David ended it on his own terms while giving a last big middle finger to Arasaka. ....وسعت 25

@jonnilehtirantaالعام الماضي I've got to give credit for the Arasaka ending here. It's where I landed on my first try, and it really brought back memories from when I had life-saving id="hidden15" class="buttons"> surgery and had to stay in the hospital for a week afterwards. The game really captures the wait, the nausea, the uncertainty, the doctors not telling you everything until the end .. the game isn't punishing you, it's telling you a story of serious scifi health issues and doing a great job.
The happiest ending? That'd be leaving NC with Panam and Judy. I just played it. Saved it for last.

@loaspra8634العام الماضي For me, the best one is Don'f fear the reaper (secret ending). Specially because of the line "If I gotta die, rather fall into my grave . and id="hidden16" class="buttons"> not drag anyone down with me". I think that the game hints you with this dialogue that, knowing that someone will die inevitably on the other endings, this is the best one. ....وسعت 40

@ZyadApoالعام الماضي Rogue gives the reason when you talk to her at the bar, it was all because of her past and remembering Johnny. Now that Johnny is truly gone, she can retire and live her life without burden.
And personally, my favorite is definitely (Don't Fear) The Reaper + the Sun, it totally suits my corpo V and how I played the character. Judy ends up leaving but hey there's no happy endings in Cyberpunk anyway

When I called them from the spaceship Judy was like "okay well I'm leaving the city bye" but River was determined to bust me out of there. @rocketprimeالعام الماضي Worst: V gives up on a cure and commits toaster bath.
Bad: V sells their soul to Arasaka in exchange for a false cure.
Neutral: V raids id="hidden20" class="buttons"> Arasaka with Rogue. They give up on a cure and let Johnny have their body.
Good: V raids Arasaka with Panem. They leave Night City with the nomads in search of a possible cure.
Best: V raids Arasaka solo. They become a Night City legend and pull a heist in the Crystal Palace in exchange for the actual cure.

@wormspeakerقبل 10 أشهر I kinda like the combination of secret ending and giving Johnny your body. It curb stomps Arakasa (while also keeping Yorinobu alive, which is important id="hidden21" class="buttons"> for completely destroying the corp) without killing any of your friends. By going through this ending you know that Johnny has changed, he's become a better person by sharing your skull. You also get to see him be a better person by his actions in the ending gameplay. Panam doesn't like it, but she's probably been hounding him constantly since he told her that V gave him the body. And he finally just needed to block her calls. I usually have three to five million eddies by this ending so I figure after getting out of Night City which probably has a lot of bad memories for Johnny he can set up somewhere else and continue working on being a better person while enjoying the slow motion destruction of Arasaka. ....وسعت 15

@rustyshackle8000قبل 9 أشهر To me, it's either the Sun or the Star.
I think both tie into the major themes of the game in a satisfying, cathartic way.
They represent id="hidden23" class="buttons"> the two extremes posed by Dex: fading away, or going out in a blaze of glory.
With the Star, you find peace. You let go of your pride and your ambitions to live a life that's fulfilling, to die on your own terms, surrounded by the people you love.
Meanwhile, the Sun has you storming Arasaka, Rebel Path blaring as you tear through everyone. And in the end, you're a legend, you stuck it to Arasaka, and you're ready to punch even farther up on the totem pole.
Either way, V decides to go out on their own terms. They don't sell their soul to Arasaka, and they don't abandon their body. They made their choice.

@Tywil714العام الماضي Personally, my preferred "canon" ending for my Corpo male V is the Dont fear the reaper Sun ending. Because in that ending, V successfully storms id="hidden27" class="buttons"> the corp that fired him and solos everything they throw at him. He reaches Mikoshi, kills Adam Smasher, avenging Rebecca and David, and countless other innocents, I religiously kill him with Beccas shot gun. Semi solves his problem with the chip all by himself.
Then, he becomes king of the afterlife, gaining unlimited wealth and connections with powerful people, and is famous.
He pulls it all off without sacrificing anyone. And even if he loses, he can die without the guilt of dragging anyone in the grave with him.
I understand why so many people like the star ending its most optimistic wholsome good vibes ending. Personally, i didn't like Panam all that much. She's hot and intelligent, but Her impulsive hot headed my way or the highway attitude when you dont do or agree with her got on my nerves. Plus, as a city kid, nomad life just isn't for me. Constantly moving and squatting in the middle of nowhere or filthy one-star motels and needing to raid and steal from convoys to survive isn't for me. Nomad life is too romanticized, in my opinion sure the concept of family and trustworthy people is great but you can find the same people in the city it's just rarer. I think it's a life you would love if you were born in it or got nothing to lose like nomad V was. Which is why it makes sense for them to leave the city.

@darkhorsedanالعام الماضي Here's hoping the DLC adds another ending option to the game.
With the DLC looking like you could be working with Militech, you could feasibly id="hidden29" class="buttons"> have a new ending option where you get backed by Militech to assault Arasaka tower. It will be like a re-run of the original assault on Arasaka tower by Johnny, Morgan Blackhand and the rest (which in the game lore took place during 2023, the same year the DLC is coming out.)

@alkon8032العام الماضي The best ending really varies from person to person as all of our V's priority ain't the same. Our V's religion might not be the same. Even id="hidden32" class="buttons"> though the story is linear, the experience and how we saw, viewed, and interpreted things may be different, even our builds and fashion sense our differe. This is similar to each ending. In the Star Ending some might see it as a peaceful way to die, some might see it as an opportunity to find a cure outside Night City, in the Sun Ending, Judy or Panam might leave, but in other people's minds they might see them someday, other's would think that being alone is better. For the Devil Ending, some might believe that our soul is saved as an engram, but some might see it as torture as there are others who believe that the soul is something supernatural and cannot be saved by mere technology. In conclusion, Cyberpunk's endings, even though somewhat the same, but people might have different ways to interpret, which, for me, is the best form of art as it is based on the player whichever ending is canon to them. ....وسعت 13

@Abp.Mars-Assemblyالعام الماضي Don't Fear The Reaper" is the most thematical and cannon-friendly ending of them all. The fact Jackie Wells, Dexter De'Shawn, Evelyn Parker, id="hidden33" class="buttons"> even Takemura and Johnny Silverhand have made similar statements about the two paths in Night City. To retire quietly or go out in fireworks. V knowing death is inevitable, regarding the edgerunner culture Jackie praised so much, would thematically prefer to go out on one last heist rather than leave out the rest of life romancing or playing Afterlife boss with no glorious ending.
That is the Cyberpunk way anyways. Sure you can sink your teeth into other options, but Cyberpunk isnt about heroism or dominating the system. Its about living in style and winning as much glory as possible.
Thats why in allot of campaigns unsurmountable odds like inevitable death, cyberpsychosis, turning into an ingram, having your eddies wiped to zero or all chrome functions confiscated is an integral part of reaching legendary fame.
The beauty of Dont Fear the Reaper is that it does what almost no other rpg does, it test how well you know the system. It test whether you are worthy of legendary glory. You can either back out and let your friends and associate help you into retirement. Or you can go head on with the odds and prove yourself to Night City. To honor the edge runner culture Jackie and the fixers kept of emphasizing. Because they knew that V was all about glory. Because if V wasnt about it, V would have avoided the ingram heist. V would have hit the high road when he got burned coming up. V would have never taken job after job to just blow eddies on weapons, chromes, rides and spots. The real V goes out in style. Watching the sunset or running Afterlife just doesnt cut it when the clock is ticking to the last second.

@icethugknightالعام الماضي In my mind, my cannon ending for my V at least is the Aldecaldos ending, after crippling Arasaka and tearing down Mikoshi V leaves Night City with Panam, id="hidden41" class="buttons"> meeting with her contacts who did indeed manage to fix up V and save his life, where he then continued with his Merc work elsewhere. In my mind it plays out like that because we don't know if V could or couldn't be saved, we're told no one else could help him but we don't know that for sure, just because Arasaka is supposed to have the best of the best doesn't mean they do, its entirely possible someone else could fix what someone else couldn't. I mean sure a ton of the Aldecaldos end up dying Saul included but with Panam leading the clan and V by her side I'm more then sure they could find new clan members. Panam describes her new life in Night City as stepping out of one pile of shit to fall into another bigger pile and with Saul being the only thing that could tie her and the clan to the city with his false ideals of grandeur and betterment having died with him it only makes sense that there'd be nothing keeping them their anymore, the city that promised to make peoples dreams come true loses its facade and is really seen as a city built on corporate greed and the exploitation of the weak and poor where even the merc with stars in his eyes and a hunger for legendary status amongst his peers seems to have been chewed up and spit out by the very town he was born in, the people he grew up with, he and his new family have seen the poor climb the latter and the rich fall from the clouds and crash land back to reality and its time for them to move to greener pastures, needing each other and only each other. ....وسعت 2

@AugustSchroifالعام الماضي I'd say Temperance is the worst ending. It's worse than taking a bullet, because when you take a bullet at least all your friends know it's id="hidden50" class="buttons"> all over and eventually will get over it. In Temperance, however, Johnny doesn't even care to spend 2 minutes of his time to write to V's friends and at least explain what happened instead of just ghosting them.
And, besides, Panam will track Johnny down anyway. She's got a clan of nomads who will follow her to hell and back and something tells me Johnny doesn't have much of his newfound life for long. I just don't wanna be there when she starts pulling nails.
AND I actually disagree that signing a contract with Arasaka is the worst. They can literally make a backup copy of your consciousness and eventually just load it into an appropriate body. If you keep both Takemura and Oda alive, Takemura owes you a lot, and he is an upright and reliable man who values his honor more than his own life. So I think you've actually got very good chances.

@SuperLeshinaالعام الماضي There are some interesting things to note in regards to the endings I noticed when playing through the game.
    1. In Panam's ending, she mentions id="hidden52" class="buttons"> she has contacts that can help V out. I've once stumbled upon a comment that she knows someone in Sweden (though I watched the ending and didn't really hear her specifically it's from Sweden), and there's one more mention of Sweden by Hellman - a facility that can provide palliative help. So that ending was not what it was for me for quite some time, as I thought that it was the facility Hellman mentioned.
    2. Don't fear the Reaper is a badass ending, though it has a major mistake in the plot. Every ending where you storm Arasaka explicitly shows you striking a deal with Alt and uploading a daemon onto a chip in order for Alt to gain access to Mikoshi. In fact it was exactly the deal, as Alt couldn't get to Mikoshi on her own means. In the Reaper ending, you've guessed it, the chip comes out of nowhere. It's somewhat strange that no one really points that out lol.
    3. Also, in all Mikoshi endings Alt has probably got Saburo in her possession, as Saburo is also an engram. Just something to think on.
    4. Also also, in Mikoshi endings, Yorinobu seems to have achieved what he wanted - he got rid of anything that could meddle with his plans, and any loose ends are tied up in a commotion.
    5. Don't fear the Reaper ending also is, essentially, dealing with a corporation (I mean in the Epilogue), which in the game ALWAYS meant bad things. Hence why I could say it's not as good of an ending as it would seem. Then again, the Crystal Palace heist is made for. I actually can't say what exactly, but I think some important and not-in-your-face kind of themes of this game are Rogue AI's and Space, so Crystal Palace might have some serious meaning behind it, as just top 1% of the 1% could even be in there. So it could be something much, much more important than a Casino - for all we know, it's a Casino to everyone else except for the people that actually come there, and it's probably not for playing poker.
So, in regards to the ending, I chose Panam's ending, as it's the only one that breaks the circle of the cyberpunk genre, with Don't fear the Reaper a close second (I literally can't make anything of it as of yet, so.)

@Nicottiaالعام الماضي My favorite was the secret ending. I remember when I played on release I did try all of them but that one was really amazing. I did it on a netrunner id="hidden53" class="buttons"> V, and lvl 50. enemies just couldn't touch me, sure, going all blazin' with guns is all good but seeing through walls and just making enemies get burnt to death via damage over time and disabling their weapons/abilities. now THAT was epic. I like the secret ending mission the id="hidden54" class="buttons"> best, as it is fun to play and story-wise it allows V to reach the top of her strength and fight for herself, without letting any of her friends die. As for the epilogues, I prefer Johnny's epilogue. V will die anyway, and permanently, unless Alt made a backup of her Engram. Though it's a shame Johnny ghosts all of her friends, maybe he does that because he is going to try and bring her back? I hope so, or it doesn't make sense with his redemption arch ....وسعت 1

But in reality it is a meat grinder that has id="hidden56" class="buttons"> chewed up and spat out just about everyone including your friends and allies. Don’t Fear The Reaper is my favorite ending to pick. V had been backed against the wall so many times and over the course of his journey that he realized one thing, that if you keep fighting you can achieve anything. V rose above the gangs, Dex, the biochip, Arasaka, The FIA, Adam Smasher, even Night City itself to reach the top. The Star ending is open ended but so is Path to Glory. @lewiswebster2089العام الماضي Now Before Giving My thoughts I should Say that I've only done a full Playthrough Once for Cyberpunk 2077, I did know the endings already since I'd id="hidden62" class="buttons"> played the game back when it came out in 2020, it crashed 7 times in just the first 10 hours, and I quite and found out the outcomes by watching the numerous video essays talking about the Game. I didn't come back to the game again until this year after watching Edgerunners last Mouth [December 2022, bit late to the party I know] and like everyone I really enjoyed it, hell I still think after fully completing 2077 that Edgerunners has a superior Story and Characters and feels more in line with the Cyberpunk genre. I then decided to make My cautious return to Cyberpunk 2077, and unlike the first playthrough where I gave up after punching out Fingers and getting stuck looking for the BD on Jig-Jig Street, I completed the game and got the Stars ending. So bearing in mind I've only done one of the games endings so far and already know all the others through word-of-mouth, heres what I think of each ending.
    The Devil
I think this is a fittingly bad outcome for a game called Cyberpunk, with V getting backstabbed by Arasaka simply because they saw V as a means to an end and didn't care of honoring their end of the bargain. I think that having a final choice of going home or getting Soulkillered is particularly noteworthy, as it allows for the Player to decide what they want to make of this terrible circumstance. I have heard some complain that it drags on a bit long [which having not played this ending I can't verify] but from what I've seen online it is a fitting end to the tale of V and His/hers ill fated attempt to live.
    The Sun
This is My least favourite ending, as it doesn't work as an ending to a Cyberpunk story. The idea that after V get's the whole impeding death thing worked out and then becomes a wealthy "Night City Legend" who then goes on a yeet mission to space is just a bit too triumphant of an ending. Being a "Night City Legend" is clearly not supposed to be a good thing as we can see from how Johnny turned out and the "Bolivian Army Ending" aspect makes it feel corny. I honestly don't know why CD-Projekt thought this ending was a good way to end the game.
    The Stars
As stated earlier, I got this ending on My recent playthrough of the game and I think this is one of the best endings. I think it perfectly solidifies the idea the Night City isn't worth it and V is better off with the Aldecaldos. It is particularly effective if like Me you play as a Nomad, as it gives the ending a feeling of going to Hell [i.e. Night City] and coming out the other end damaged but not beaten. I love it.
    Temperance
Given this is the only ending where Johnny Silverhand gets to keep V's body, I think its a great conclusion for the game. It shows how Johnny has been affected by his time with V and desirers to live his new lease on life better than 50+ years earlier, getting out of Night City and letting go of his old vendetta with Arasaka. Like the last ending, it shows that Night City is Hell and that getting out of its grasp is a victory.
    The Path of Least Resistance
Extremely sad and heart-breaking, perfectly shows why throwing your life away when there's still hope is wrong, especially given Judy's call in the credits showing her emotionally on the brink of going down the same path as V and Evelyn. Handles the whole topic with great respect.
    Don't Fear the Reaper
Puts the "Punk" in Cyberpunk, no more need be said.
Overall, I think most of the endings fit the themes well and give a satisfying conclusion for just about anyone playing through the game. Just a shame that the rest of the story is so underwhelming and disjointed, yeah there's some great characters [Saul, Takemura and Panam being my favourites] yet I feel it just screams of lacking a clearly version, something which can be said of the Game as a whole. Still, I'll take what victories I can, and the endings are one of those.

@alexroski8454العام الماضي I like to add lifepaths to my endings. As your V has more of a background when the endings happen, it suits you better for what lifepath you picked. For id="hidden64" class="buttons"> example on my very first ending I did the Panam ending (The Star) as male V. Panam and V bonded more because of that Nomad blood. They both understand family and freedom unlike A corpo V or Street kid, Also the lifepath dialogues just add to it. Therefor when it was time to pick I of course did Panams. Same can be said with corpo and street kid you get the idea. Here are the best endings in my opinion with lifepaths:
Nomad V (Male)- the star ending with romancing Panam
Nomad V (Female) - the star ending romancing Judy
Street kid V (male) -the secret ending or rouge ending
Street kid V (female) -the secret ending or rouge ending while romancing River.
Corpo V (male) -Panam ending(best) or devil ending but leaving for earth.
Corpo V (female) -Panam ending with romancing Judy. Or devil ending also leaving for earth.

@danielstokkerقبل 7 أشهر The thing i like the most in this game is that it reminded me so much of old deus ex games were you also had al kinds of upgradeble cyberware guns and id="hidden65" class="buttons"> what not , but that was a linear game without a open world you could just run around in .
only a few years later when a mod team made a huge mod for it you could walk around in a city in deus ex . back then i wasnt able to install the mods on my pc for it and always hoped a game like it would launch some day with far better graphics .
cyberpunk delivered on that wish for me certainly with 2.0 update it seems to be a good running game now with just a few glitches here and there went threw almost 50 hours of gameplay with just a few weird things happening like a car flying away after a collision and some weird car accidents but nothing really big or gamebreaking

@ewrwerweالعام الماضي I think the Panam ending is easily the worst. Tons of people die for you. Some of whom aren't even that close with V. All for you to only have 6 months id="hidden72" class="buttons"> left, and ruin the Aldecaldos to the point where they feel they have to leave the Night City area after the death of Saul. Sure they bag some expensive loot from Arasaka, but at the cost of a lot of stability and lives.
The Don't Fear the Reaper ending feels like what the whole arc of the story was aimed at. And it's the most fulfilling IMO. V finally becomes a legend of Night City worth remembering. Alive or dead. She gets one more chance at survival doing a SECOND suicide run in space. Something no one has ever tried before. And Rogue is alive for it this time, and she has some friends that work with satellites to help out. And the most important thing, is this is the ending Johnny would want. He wants Rogue and V alive. He wants V risking everything to become a living legend.

As regards V's future prospects, the Aldecados basically say that they know some guys. This in itself has me FAR more optimistic than anything you ever hear from Arasaka's direction.
Something else to consider. In one of the news / ads you hear during play, there is mention of a corp having developed a new cure for Multiple Sclerosis. On the face of it, V's medical situation at conclusion seems to very closely line up with certain theories about MS.

@Proxyconقبل 7 أشهر I've tried to discuss this with others but for me, it's The Sun ending from Don't Fear The Reaper (i.e. Rogue is still alive). Here's my id="hidden79" class="buttons"> reasoning:
Compared to The Star, you're NOT turning your back to the lingering issues and promises you made to others in The Sun.
Exhibit A: You get to exact revenge on Adam Smasher for defeating Johnny and turning him into an engram, a fate worse than death.
Exhibit B: You get to honor your friendship with Jackie because you're starting to climb to the top of the top in NC, the "major" major leagues - what V ultimately set out to do.
Exhibit C: You're not effectively surrendering to the beast that is Night City by not running away and becoming a legend by trying to shoot for the moon.
Exhibit D: The Sun ending feels more resolute than other endings as V states in their dialogue with Mr. Blue Eyes: "Times I had something to gain are long over. Now, I've got nothing left to lose."
For these reasons (and more I can't think of right now) The Sun (from a successful Suicide Run) is better for me than The Star.
