Then, soak them in enough water for about 2 hours. Drain the water before using. 2. **Marinate the Mutton:** In a mixing bowl, combine the mutton gosht (sheep meat) with red chilli powder, coriander powder, and half of the lemon juice. Mix well to ensure the mutton pieces are evenly coated with the spices. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes. 3. **Cooking the Mutton:** In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown. 4. **Add Mutton:** Add the marinated mutton to the pot and cook until it's browned on all sides. 5. **Spice It Up:** Add the diced tomatoes and continue to cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate. 6. **Cook the Dals:** Add the soaked and drained dals (chan dal, masoor dal, and moong dal) to the pot.
