Available at Diabloguitars.com Fender Masterbuilt Custom Shop ’61 Stratocaster in very cool Orange Burst “Creamsicle” finish with factory Black Hardware built  by Jason Smith 2011. This rare Masterbuilt guitar was made by Jason Smith from start to finish based on an original 1961 Stratocaster. What makes this guitar truly unique was Jason’s choice of factory black hardware and this very cool Orange Burst “Creamsicle” finish! This ’61 reissue features an ash body, highly figured birds eye maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Equipped with 3 Josefina Hand-Wound '60s Strat Single-Coils pickups controlled by a master volume, two tone knobs and a 5-way pickup selector switch. Although this guitar has factory black hardware, all of the hardware is vintage spec including the vintage Pre-CBS style tuning machines, and vintage style synchronized tremolo. The 3-ply pearloid pick-guard is not period correct for the ’61 Strat however it is a great choice by Jason to blend the Orange Burst finish, with black hardware bringing a modern touch to a vintage sounding and feeling guitar. This guitar is in excellent condition with only minor surface scratches. There is moderate to heavy finish checking that came factory even though the COA reads NOS. This guitar has been freshly re-strung, setup and sounds fantastic! Comes with COA, case candy, and original 61 reissue Fender hardshell case with brown tolex.
