جزيرة نافاسا هي جزيرة صغيرة في البحر الكاريبي خالية من السكان، وهي جزيرة متنازع عليها بين الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وهايتي. تبلغ مساحتها حوالي 5.4 كم². تقع الجزيرة على بعد 166 كم من الجهة الجنوبية للقاعدة البحرية الأمريكية في خليج غوانتانامو، كوبا، وعلى بعد 56 كم غرب شبه جزيرة هايتي الجنوب غربية. Navasa Island is a small, depopulated island in the Caribbean Sea, which is a disputed island between the United States of America and Haiti. Its area is about 5.4 km². The island is located 166 km south of the US Naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and 56 km west of the southwestern Haitian peninsula. تقع جزيرة ميدواي على بعد 2,090كم شمال هونولولو في المحيط الهادئ. تتألف من جزيرتين تقعان في حلقة من الشعاب المرجانية قطرها 10كم. تبلغ مساحة الجزيرة 5كم². وتمتد سواحلها إلى مسافة 30كم. يبلغ سكان ميدواي حوالي 470 نسمة. اكتشفت الولايات المتحدة الجزيرة في 1859م، وضمتها إليها في 1867م. شيدت الشركات الأمريكية بها محطات بث إذاعي في 1903م، ومطارًا في 1935م، وتخضع الجزيرة لإدارة الأسطول الأمريكي. Midway Island is located 2,090 km north of Honolulu in the Pacific Ocean. It consists of two islands located in a ring of coral reefs 10 km in diameter. The area of the island is 5 km². Its coastline extends to a distance of 30 km. Midway has approximately 470 inhabitants. The United States discovered the island in 1859 AD, and annexed it in 1867 AD. American companies built radio stations in 1903, and an airport in 1935, and the island is under the administration of the American fleet. جزر كوكوس أو جزر كيلينغ هي إحدى مناطق أستراليا. يتكون أرخبيل جزر كوكوس من جزيرتي شعب حلقية (آتولات، جزر مرجانية) و27 جزيرة مرجانية صغيرة غير مسكونة. يقع الأرخبيل في المحيط الهندي. الجزر غير ذاتية الحكم، وتحكم من كانبيرا في أستراليا. عدد سكانها 597 نسمة (تقديرات 2009). مساحتها 14 كم²، وعاصمتها ويست آيلند. Cocos Islands or the Keeling Islands is one of the regions of Australia. The Cocos Islands archipelago consists of two ring reef islands (atolls, atolls) and 27 uninhabited small atolls. The archipelago is located in the Indian Ocean. The islands are not self-governing, and are governed from Canberra in Australia. Its population is 597 (2009 estimate). Its area is 14 km², and its capital is West Island.
