Pizza Tray De Havilland Mosquito - Part #2 - risky test flights, I hadn't expected to be able to fly today and we had rain all morning as predicted. I put the plane in the car just in case and after lunch things brightened up so I risked a trip to a park. It was really too windy for such a small plane and after several poor flights it broke. I repaired it and did a few safer tests in the back garden. If we get another calm day I will try again. They are just the packaging that my local supermarkets use for pizzas. I use them because they are free and would otherwise be thrown away. You could use any polystyrene or styrofoam packaging you can find or even buy foam board from model shops. The foam I am using is about 5mm thick.
