Oman I Gorgeous Beaches of Al Ashkharah

- Al Ashkharah is a town in the Ash Sharqiyah Region of Oman. It is very famous for it's gorgeous beaches. Also great place for fishermen and Kitesurfing. - We stayed in Arabian Sea Motel which is on a pristine stretch of beach in Aseelah of the Sultanate of Oman. The sandy beach is situated directly outside the Motel. Kitesurfing, sailing and turtle watching activities can be arranged by the motel. (Source: booking.com). - - Sultanate of Oman is situated in the southeastern part of the Arabian Peninsula. It is surrounded by the sea on two sides, the sea of Oman to the northeast and the Indian Ocean to the southeast The land area of Oman amounts to about 309,500 km2; it is predominantly desert, including stony plains and areas of sand dunes; the largest of these are the Al Whahibah sands in the east and sand dunes of Rub’ Al Khali (or Empty Quarter) in the west. The Sultanate of Oman commands a coastline stretching for about 3165 km from the furthest point of the southeast on the Arabia Sea and the mouth of the Indian Ocean, to Musandam in the north; it then overlooks the strategic Strait of Hormuz at the point of entry to the Arabian Gulf.
