SURREY HILLS MTB Peaslake - Flat Pedals VS Clipless Pedals

My Nukeproof Mega 275 is in the workshop having blown my rear shock and I didn't take the clipless pedals off it.........so the options were don't ride or borrow MTB Laura's Virus Escarpe VRX with flat pedals!!! (I've not ridden flat pedals in about 5yrs!) So we put the bikes in the van, I borrowed some Five Ten freeriders and we headed to Peaslake in the Surrey Hills after torrential rainfall.......what could possibly go wrong? So did I fall in love with flat pedals again or simply miss my clipless pedals too much?
