Born to both Sierra Leonean parents, he grew up with his immediate family in the Western Area of Freetown (Aberdeen Road to specific). He has two siblings who are girls, of which one is older and the other is younger than him. In 2016 he started hitting the studios and was able to drop two mixtape tracks "Love Me Now" and "4 in the morning" which featured one of KME's finest at the time "Blesz". 2018 was the year when Mello Seven bounced back and had his first song that caught the eye of more of the general public. This project titled “Body Na quality” was the mixtape track that put him on the way to more success. Since then, Mello has gone on to release more songs like “Fallin 4 U”, “Kon Fu”, “One Time”, “Personal Posin” & “The Map”. All these were released between 2019 & 2020. His latest track is a love song titled “Joborti” featuring Sierra Leone’s finest female singer superstar “Rozzy” Award Nominations: Next Rated Act Category (NEA 2018).
