Synth + Pedal Sound Design Tutorial - Arturia MicroFreak and Zoom MS-70CDR

In this tutorial, I create a dreamy pad sound using a very basic patch on the Arturia MicroFreak and a phaser, delay and reverb from the Zoom MS-70CDR effects pedal. My music on Bandcamp: http://waveformer42.bandcamp.com/ This technique is by no means exclusive to the MicroFreak synth and the MS-70 pedal, and should work with almost any synth. The Zoom MS-70CDR pedal is perhaps the cheapest way of getting multiple good effects in one pedal, but there are lots of other options.
