Kaz & Inej [Shadow & Bone (+2x08)] | | Even When It Hurts

I still can't get over the fact that we got SO MANY book scenes this season.... like,,, I can't decide if I love or hate it?? OBVIOUSLY Freddy and Amita did a WONDERFUL job during those scenes (it felt like the pages of the books come to life!!) BUT it was SOOOO out of order??? LIKE,, it was just painfully obvious they were trying to cram in fan favorite moments in case they don't get a renewal... STILL- for the context of vidding and isolating the scenes in a bubble- these moments had me floored omggg I don't think I'll ever stop fangirling about it!! ESPECIALLY THE MOMENT WHEN INEJ ASKED HIM WHAT HE WANTED AND UGHHHHH YOU COULD LITERALLY SEE THE "YOU INEJ, YOU" IN HIS EXPRESSION IT WAS SOOOO FREAKING CLEAR ON HIS FACE!! Freddy the actor you are!! It was like that scene jumped right out of the book and onto the screen! I'll never be over it tbh... like seriously their acting and overall chemistry is INSANE props to the casting department lol SOOOO,,, OF COURSE I had to add voiceovers from the audiobooks again. There were just too many great SOC/CK moments that fit with this seasons so I HAD to add bits from the books!! I REALLY hope the Six of Crows spinoff gets greenlit!! I really can't wait to see more of this series adapted for screen (although, admittedly, I had some issues with the way S&B was adapted overall this season.... but that's a rant for another time lol). BUT ANYWAYS.... Hopefully y'all liked the vid? tbh I'm not entirely sure if I like how this vid turned out. I had an idea for a vid, and I wanted to vid kanej, but I've felt super drained lately, so idk it just felt like I was going through the motions with this vid more than being genuinely inspired.... hopefully I can get that spark back in my vidding soon (especially bc I have more vid ideas I wanna work on). idk though, maybe that's the cost of vidding for work? it takes up a lot of my creative energy, so I don't have much left for my fanvids... ~*~*~ None of the clips are mine, all rights to respective owners.
