All natural DIY food colouring (coloring) tested in buttercream frosting - vegan - how to make

No nasty chemicals, no E-numbers, no animal products, no allergens, no hard work, just mix them up & go :) These colours are made from powdered dried berries, plants & leaves and are easily found in health food shops or online. I used the powders for ease, but if you want you can use the juice of the fresh berries & roots instead - they'll probably work even better. The quantities I've used here are just a guide. You can add a much as you like to get the right colour - just beware that turmeric has its own flavour which may become overpowering if you add too much. You can also add a lil melted chocolate to make browns and muted hues, as I did to make the wood colour of the artist palette cake shown at the end 🎨 look out for that video coming soon. The only one I wouldn't recommend using was acai. It was completely useless!
