Some observers pointed out that internet has been snapped to prevent former vice president Amrullah Saleh from sharing his messages on social media. The Taliban have shut down the internet in Panjshir Valley, where Ahmad Massoud led rebel forces are holed up, media reported on Sunday. The Taliban fighters have laid siege to the Panjshir valley but have not been able to conquer it so far. Several Taliban opponents have gathered in Panjshir. Some observers pointed out that internet has been snapped to prevent former vice president Amrullah Saleh from sharing his messages on social media. Meanwhile, people in Kabul have been facing severe problems, employers are not able to pay salaries and employees have run out of money which will cause a crisis if not resolved. It comes as there is no banking serviced available ever since the Taliban entered Kabul on August 15. In a new security alert issued early Sunday in Kabul, the US State Department advised all American citizens to immediately leave three of the Kabul airport's gates and avoid travelling to the airport, citing a "specific, credible threat".
