Enjoy the glimpse of our visit to Boro Komoldoho Waterfalls, one of the lesser known waterfalls not only in Chittagong but also in Bangladesh !! The route is very straight forward. We started for Feni at midnight and reached by 3 am. Then we roamed here and there until dawn and had breakfast. We then took a Chittagong going local bus and headed towards Boro Darogar Haat. The starting point of the trekking is just 2 minutes ahead of Boro Darogar Haat so just tell the bus contactor you want to go to Boro Komoldoho Waterfalls and he will drop you 2 minutes ahead of Boro Darogar Haat. From there it took around 35 minutes to reach Boro Komoldoho Waterfalls. The whole path of Komoldoho Waterfalls seems to be connected with unadulterated magic. The large lotus fountain and the rocky rhyme above it are remarkable. The whole thing has been wrapped with transparent smooth stone with great care. This hilly trail passes through the village of Komoldoho, east of Boro Darogar Haat under Sitakunda Upazila of Chittagong. Although there are several small and big fountains in Komoldoho, the main attraction here is the Boro Komoldoho Waterfalls and Chagolkanda Waterfalls. In recent times the local villagers have renamed it as Rupshi Jharna. The whole trail can be easily completed in 3-4 hours. However, during heavy rains, the rhyme on the top of the big lotus waterfall becomes very dangerous. Upstream of Borokomoldoho Waterfalls is more adventurous. The path you have to cross is very risky. You have to go through Borokomoldoho Waterfalls if you would like to see upstream. Be careful before climbing to upstream. Lastly don't forget to be a responsible individual. Be more respectful of the nature and its surrounding by not littering or polluting the area. It's important to realize that it's not enough just to enjoy the nature—we also have to keep them clean and actively protect them. Happy travelling ! *********************************************************************** কমলদহর পুরোটা পথজুড়েই যেন অকৃত্রিম মায়ায় জোড়ানো। বড় কমলদহ ঝর্না ও তার উপরের পাথুড়ে ছড়া এককথায় অসাধারণ। পুরোটাই যেন স্বচ্ছ মসৃণ পাথর দিয়ে মড়িয়ে রাখা হয়েছে অত্যন্ত যত্নসহকারে। চট্টগ্রামের সীতাকুণ্ড উপজেলার অন্তর্গত বড়দারোগার হাঁটের পূর্ব বড় কমলদহ গ্রাম দিয়ে যেতে হয় এই পাহাড়ি ট্রেইলে। কমলদহে ছোট-বড় বেশ কয়েকটি ঝর্না থাকলেও বড় কমলদহ ও ছাগলকান্দা ঝর্নাই এখানকার মূল আকর্ষণ। সাম্প্রতিক জনপ্রিয়তায় স্থানীয় গ্রামবাসী এর নতুন নামকরন করে রূপসী ঝর্না। পুরো ট্রেইলটা আরামেই ৩-৪ ঘণ্টায় সম্পন্ন করা সম্ভব। তবে অতি বর্ষণের সময় বড় কমলদহর ঝর্নার উপরের ছড়া অনেক বিপদজনক হয়ে উঠে। পরিশেষে, পরিবেশের ক্ষতি হয় এমন কাজ অবশ্যই করবেন না। খাবার, বিস্কুট, চিপ্সের প্যাকেট, প্লাস্টিকের বোতল যাই নিয়ে যাননা কেন আসার সময় অবশ্যই সাথে করে নিয়ে আসবেন। ভুলেও ফেলে আসবেন না।
