He hails from a Mende/Temne/Krio tribal background and grew up with his immediate family in the western Area of Freetown (Aberdeen to specific). He has two siblings which are girls, of which one is older and the other is younger than him. His primary and secondary education were obatined from Murray Deen Preparatory School, and The International School Ltd. Secondary respectively. He was able to successfully obtain His NPSE, BECE and IGCSE from these two schools, and later headed to IPAM university where he also completed his B.sc Degree in Business Administration in 2015. Upon completion, Mello finally had the chance to follow his dream of having a professional music career. He started to hit the studios with the aim of building his craft in singing and song writing. During these period, he was also working in an office in order to fund his dream as much as he could. In 2016 he was able to drop two mixtape tracks "Love Me Now" and "4 in the morning" which he was able to feature one of KME's finest "Blesz". This artist was responsible for introducing him to the studios and the industry at large hereby linking him up with Legendary Producer "Lord Mo" where he was able to practice his craft and record regularly. He always considers Blesz of KME as the man who discovered him and gave him confidence to pursue his dream harder. 2017 was the year when Mello Seven had his first breakthrough with a single and official video for the popular track "Body Na Quality". During this period he was shortly managed by FigoMan Productions (FMP) which helped to open more doors for him in the entertainment sector so as to push his career to next level. In December 2018 his recognition grew and was nominated in the Next Rated Act Category at the National Entertainment Awards Ceremony (NEA 2018). Following this, he dropped his second official single "Fallin 4 U" with an official video for the Afro RNB love song. He also has dropped two other singles titled "Sweet Salone" a song for Mama Salone and recently a collaboration with 2018 and 2019 NEA best hip hop artist winner "Drizilik". The song is titled "Kon Fu" and is a certified club banger💯. The video is in the making. Mello Seven is a God fearing Christian who is socially conscious and has dreams to use his platform to contribute in nation building, especially the entertainment and IT sector.
