The reason for this is because the first house is half price, and you only get that opportunity once. There are no New World cheats for housing, or new world glitches, you only get a half price house one time, no New world exploits for this one sadly. As for New World housing decorations, the amount you can place is based on the price of the house you bought. The 20,000 coin home lets you have 200 items and the 5,000 coin home lets you have 100 items. New World storage chests are limited by this too. The worst house can only have 1, and the 10k home can have 4. These are to increase storage limit in New World. New World buff trophies are placed in your home, you can have 5 in each house regardless of how much you paid.
