@jellysmith4350منذ 3 سنوات I'm switching from years of Samsung note adherence to this. Reason? It's the only flagship phone today with expandable memory, and a 3.5mm headphone id="hidden2" class="buttons"> jack. Pretty important stuff for high res music fans. It's that simple. Thanks for being the ONLY manufacturer keeping things real, Sony. ....وسعت 651

@krzysztofczarnecki8238العام الماضي It's actually mind-blowing on just how well-documented Sony phones are. I've been looking at phones to get a new one recently, and Sony say exactly id="hidden8" class="buttons"> what it has or doesn't have. USB-C video output? They even specify the resolution. OTG? Damn right, says on the actual specs page. Camera sensor types and sizes, lens focal lengths and apertures? Also right there. Bluetooth audio codecs, 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G frequencies? All well documented. Complete with guides how to hook up the phone to a TV or to a camera as monitor, for example. With other phones to find out if they have USB OTG you need to see a Youtube test. It is so good not to have to rely on unreliable information on phone comparison websites, and then be profoundly disappointed after spending more than monthly salary on a phone, because there was mistake on that site. ....وسعت 2

@laneye7669منذ 3 سنوات I think the location on the top of the phone was chosen for the same reason other manufacturers are not including headphone jacks anymore. Think about id="hidden10" class="buttons"> it, when you're wearing headphones, you probably wanna have the chord come out the bottom for easy use when holding the phone with headphones. But nowadays most people will probably have wireless earphones anyways and use the headphone jack for a sound or speaker system, in a friend's car for example. And if you hook your phone up to a speaker or something external, non wearable, it's a lot more comfortable to have the cable come out the top and not have to bend it. ....وسعت 6

Sony is the only brand offering ALL of the major things we still want in our phones. I've used Samsung for years and I love it, but I MUST have a headphone jack and an SD card slot (or a TON of storage). I actually order this phone a few days ago. really excited to get it in the mail. :D ....وسعت 42

@CPNSTRAdiction5925منذ 2 سنوات After having had the Xperia 1 for the last couple years I also don't think I would ever want to go back to a non 21:9 ratio phone. The tall screen id="hidden14" class="buttons"> makes feeds so much better because you can see so much more by default on the tall screen. Ya know like Twitter, reddit, Facebook feeds, news feeds. @PandorasCrate0منذ 3 سنوات Speaking of the Venice… that frickin’ sensor, man. Captures 16-bits of color information. 16-BITS! All wrapped up nicely in that X-OCN codec with a bit rate lower that ArriRaw. Like wtf, combine science and magic much? Seriously, I just worked on a show where we had three of those suckers, and being on one of the sets on the sound stage, you’d think it was twilight. Then you’d look into the monitor and see what the camera was seeing, and BAM! Day light! That thing captured so much, it was a point of frustration for some of the operators and DP. Lol love that thing. ....وسعت 1

@bennyhill8186منذ 3 سنوات The BEST REVIEW OF A PHONE IV SEEN IN AWHILE..why? The charm, wit, he paid me(never met never seen before)?? Sony employee? Or he's a Sony employee id="hidden18" class="buttons"> and promised me a phone? I wish..no it's refreshing to hear a sincere raw telling of many techie truths, that get overlooked in the smart phone game. Like Sony's 1'sts..I have owned a Sony since 2013, the SP, with the light bar at the bottom, you could set to myriad colors to represent a call, text vm etc. So needn't have volume on and you could still tell incoming from across the room. One thing notentioned is build quality, yes they were the first waterproof, but also the outstanding waterproof models, as many on tube have exemplified, dunking and leaving in 5' of water then turn on, or leave on, Sony was the only to still work after ,24hr, apple and Samsung didn't make it out of the firing it up stage, Lg and Huaewei made it couple hours.and listening to reviews for a decade now has always irked me, bc they usually point out how Sony "not living up to standards" we know they can make, but don't apply the same rigorous standards D's to other fones, don't highlight the better parts of their fones, only the negatives, and nitpick the most ludicrous details.."not a fan of the design"-re; xz premium, then say off note10, 1-1/2-2 years later(samsu g basically ripped the design off, but as usual were a year or two behind) proclaim how they love the design..or if the specs are better, (and in the 3 score tests usually are, even with same processors and less ram, Sony's always have less ram and perform better anyway) then they complain of too high a price tag or the picture quality of pics..and to that, every techie writer is an expert at photography in the past, saying how Sony's don't match up with the camera, and leave out it was shot in auto mode, where Sony always emphasized the customization in the app, and tuning the cam to your liking, bit the reviewers always neglected to mention ..but they claimed to know enough about photography that Sony didn't know whattheyr doing.now .that Sony has trumped all the others-not my word, the actual photographers online who endorse the One's cams out the wazoo..now the techies all claim ignorance in the realm of photography
.also the PlayStation app always stood out to me and is awesome or was idk..bit I never heard a peep about it, which is strange coming from video game nerds;) and the fact that Sony has dominated the market 7,8/10.I owned an xz premium and still have it, I still have the SP, and the slide phone from 2007..they last forever..just like the TV's..so thank you for being honest and not sounding like a shill for other brands

@czkmeisterمنذ 2 سنوات I've been using the S21 Ultra for the past couple of months, upgrading from my old Note 10 Plus. When I got the Note, I instantly missed the headphone id="hidden19" class="buttons"> jack I had on the S10 Plus (that phone had things I didn't like and I wanted to try out the S pen). So now with the Ultra, I miss the jack, I miss the memory card slot, they market it as an Ultra phone but they get rid of the features that would make it ultra. I've come across a deal where I could get the Xperia 1 III for a really good price and seeing the reviews I'm probably going to go for it. Great looking phone, comfortable to hold, doesn't cut any corners, hell they're not even afraid to still leave a little bezel so there's no stupid notch or hole punch and have a proper stereo speaker? Who does that today except Sony? ....وسعت 1

@mars_12345منذ 3 سنوات I have rather small hands, so I went for (used) Xperia Z1 Compact back in January 2015. Lasted 3.5 years - though had to replace battery after almost 2 id="hidden22" class="buttons"> years. Looking at what was available at the time, I went again for Sony, Xperia XZ1 Compact this time. Still using it today and the only drawback is that I need to charge it quite often. But on Stamina battery mode it can last pretty long, so there is always an option if that's really needed. Overall, given past Xperiances ;), I am probably going to pick 1 III for max specs or 5 III just to lower price a bit. But first, the XZ1 has to break down, which is not something that's likely to happen in the next 6+ months. Sony is really underappreciated for their phones. Give them a try! ....وسعت 2

@sknate303منذ 3 سنوات As an Xperia 1 II user I feel as though it's very worth mentioning that in place of being able to change the location of the navigation buttons, the id="hidden23" class="buttons"> built-in gesture control is actually super intuitive, allowing you to swipe onto the screen from either side to go back (also customizable; can use only one or the other or both, and adjust sensitivity so as to avoid interfering with apps that use similar features within them), and along the bottom of the screen to switch between apps, and the home gesture is very similar to new buttonless iPhones. ....وسعت

@gabrielschroll3824منذ 3 سنوات I drooled over the Xperia 1 ii for a long time, but never pulled the trigger because the review consensus was that it wasn't bright enough, and it id="hidden25" class="buttons"> was limited to a 60hz refresh rate. Those are the two things that kept creeping in to my mind, and making me say.I'll wait until the mark 3.
I think they nailed it this time. I've never used anything more than a 60hz refresh. My iPad Air 4th Gen and my iPhone 6 Plus (yes, still) don't have 90 or 120hz, so honestly, I can't miss what I've never had. With that said, I'd love this phone. I'll have to wait until I can get a pre-owned/refurbished one in a year or so. But this will be my next phone, 100%.

The display looks amazing and who cares about a tiny little bezel, well apart from Apple.
I love the fact that Sony phones come with Swiftkey pre installed and that they've stuck with the Headphone Jack.

@jasonlib1996منذ 2 سنوات watching this as I've been considering upgrading my old phone, and scrolling through gsmarena only to find that this is the only phone that has all id="hidden40" class="buttons"> the features I want.
there's several key things that i wont buy a phone without, wireless charging, SD card slot, and 3.5mm jack. without those features its useless to me.
So many brands taking away expandable storage because they want you to pay more upfront for the higher capacity model which costs more than the equivalent increase SD card size would cost.
wireless charging is so convenient and I've set up my work flow so that if i'm at home, or driving my phone is sat on a wireless charging pad and is easy to pick up and put back down without a wire in the way

@Norweegمنذ 3 سنوات Sony has been picking things back up in a really good way. Their older midrange phone were amazing and their flagships are and always have been top notch. I've been think about going Samsung next year, depending on how the S22/S22 Ultra looks like, but this video might make me give Sony's next flagship next year a try. ....وسعت 2

@DaveDorenbergVeltmanمنذ 3 سنوات You forget 'dynamic vibration'. I have the second generation 1 II and I expect it to be on the 1III as well. I'm all the way for Sony and people id="hidden44" class="buttons"> always ask what phone i have.
The only weakness of Sony is their marketing department. It's getting better but they need to be more agressieve.
