In this video we go over Etherchannels, focusing on understanding why we need them:
- Pro: Cheaper upgrades
- Pro: Added resilience
- Con: Never exceed the flow/speed of a single link
- Con: Possible Load-balancing problems
We then looked at how to configure and what is LACP, we went into packet tracer and reviewed how we would configure Etherchannels for Layer 2 and verify.
In the next video we'll dive a little deeper into Etherchannels and understand Layer 3 LAGs
