I watched this video when my first son was 2 years old coz he didn’t speak a word Not even mama … and I felt so guilty thinking I wasn’t doing enough but now with my second son, he is 11 months old and is as responsive as the girl in this video.
And I didn’t do anything different with my second son. It’s just how different both my kids are.

@LeavesChangingColorsمنذ 4 سنوات It has been seven months now being a stay at home dad (temporarily until my wife completes her military contract) and I can agree that tv time for my now id="hidden3" class="buttons"> 12 month old daughter, she turned 1 on the 30th of January, is definitely a life saver because I am usually juggling so much during the day and putting on her favorite show The Backyardigans helps me so much but I make sure that she has more play time throughout her day and so far she’s growing so well. I just want to make sure I am doing my part on her growth so here I am getting as many tips that I can.

Repetition, reading to and with your child is what they need! Don’t put so much pressure on them or you to develop. We all learn with repetition and attention. Learning and memory process through repetition and association, which is why songs help children learn! If you work that’s fine, just spend time you have singing the same song in the morning or at night. Don’t feel guilty about having to provide for them financial and spoil the time you have with them! @joliescott6845منذ 3 سنوات My one year old was refusing to walk and always crawled around fast because it’s easier. I remembered that when she first learned to crawl she cried and I’d image it’s because it’s mentally challenging to make those pathways in her brain at the beginning I’d be frustrated too! She would stand up in the middle of the room by herself and lift her head up drinking her sippy cup and you could tell she is able to walk but hasn’t had the confidence to take any steps. If I came up to her and held her hands and tried to get her to she would go limp and sit down and refuse. Eventually I was like “ok no more of this we’re not crawling any more for the next 30 minutes and held her hands and forced her to stand and if she tried to go limp I would continue to hold her up until she put her feet on the ground. Eventually she got frustrated enough and wanted to get around and started walking perfectly as long as she had my hands!!! She cried for the first 5 minutes of walking and you could see the wheels turning and just like when she learned to crawl it must be hard for her brain! She’s still building her confidence but now is walking around if I initiate it and will hold one of my hands standing next to her. It was hard and hurt my heart to make her do it and see her cry but it was defiantly worth it in the long run! ....وسعت
