@lauriebennett6257قبل 9 أشهر Chris, it takes a special kind of person to be a caregiver, especially for a family member on a daily basis. It's hard work and it's hard to watch id="hidden16" class="buttons"> them deteriorate mentally and physically. I've been a nurse since I was 20 years old.I worked 25+ years until I wasn't able to anymore due to my own health issues. Even then 5 years ago my younger brother and I took care of my Mom for a little over a year while she was on hospice for end stage Parkinson's disease. One of the hardest things was that she didn't know who we were and she and I had always been very close. I never thought that would happen.
Anyway, you ARE a very special person and I can see the bond that you and your grandma share. The love. You take such good care of her and are so gentle with her. You are an exceptional young man.
On a side note, I know you make your YouTube 'grandma' videos and your music videos but have you ever considered going into nursing? There is such a need for nurses and you have the right kind of personality. You might want to think about it. I've worked with some excellent male nurses over the years. It's hard work but it's very fulfilling. I miss it terribly. You might just want to keep it in the back of your mind. Laurie ....وسعت 4

It wasn’t easy, but caring for both of them was the right thing to do, they paid me so I could leave a full time job.

We cared for them for about id="hidden32" class="buttons"> 15 years, the later 5-7 years were 24/7 where we as siblings had our assigned 24hr shift.
