INGREDIENTS 2 Tomatoes 1 fresh baguette Salt, to taste ½ teaspoon black pepper 1 teaspoon dried basil 2 tablespoons olive oil 2-2 ½ teaspoons honey 2 teaspoons garlic, minced 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese, diced 2 tablespoons goat cheese DIRECTIONS Traditional Style 1. Cut off the ends of 1 of the tomatoes and then cut it in half, longways. Scoop out the seeds and then cut the tomato into slices. Then cut the slices into dices. Put the diced tomato into a bowl and put in 1 tablespoon olive oil, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon salt, I did ¼ teaspoon, but you can do as much as you want, ½ teaspoon basil, and 1 teaspoon minced garlic. Stir it all around so that all of the tomatoes are covered in the oil, garlic and spices. Caprese Style 1. Dice up the second tomato, and put it into a bowl. Then dice up the mozzarella cheese and put it into the same bowl. Put in 1 tablespoon olive oil, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon salt, I did ¼ teaspoon, but you can do as much as you want, ½ teaspoon basil, and 1 teaspoon minced garlic. Stir it all around so that all of the tomatoes and mozzarella get mixed together and the spices get all over them. Toasting the Bread 1. Preheat the oven on broil on the high setting, and once it is preheated, put the bread in. Flip the bread after 45 seconds to 1 minute. Once both sides have been toasted for 45 seconds to 1 minute, pull it out. Honey Goat Cheese 1. Spread some of the goat cheese onto one of the pieces of bread. Drizzle 1-1 ¼ teaspoon of honey onto the bread. Enjoy!
