@unifiedgirl5315منذ 3 سنوات As a Trinidadian I am at least pleased he acknowledged it.
Celebrities and influencers nowadays just think that cultural appropriation doesn't hurt people and its just 'a little' backlash.

@S.T_the_Triniمنذ 3 سنوات It's not just the name it's packaged with two bottles Angostura Bitters which is a Trinidad and Tobago product in addition to that the packaging id="hidden6" class="buttons"> has a design that resembles the map of T&T (Trinidad and Tobago). Something's going on here because they clearly knew about the country yet acted like the nation don't exist. With that said I don't think they should change the name. Just work with the countey and give recognition to where the name came from. ....وسعت 17

@angelasanchez7495منذ 3 سنوات I mean I like Nicki but what was her Your Love video all about. On top of that Rap is a part of African American culture. So you double down on cultural id="hidden13" class="buttons"> appropriation and then cast stones at others. Instead maybe you should have said thank you for shining light on our culture and find a way for Trinidad to prosper off of it. Like maybe introdoce the idea of using rum distilleries from there to make the product. ....وسعت 1

@Bigk3695قبل 10 أشهر Nicki Minaj is a Trinidadian woman parading around as a black American artist in a black American culture. Also she claims to be a Barbie which is an American id="hidden14" class="buttons"> icon while she's from Trinidad. She also appropriates Chinese and other Asian culture but no one says anything about it In addition to that white people use that word all the time and they say nothing about it. ....وسعت 1
