@jmac79ersمنذ 3 سنوات I actually got a 5600g for an upgrade/new build. I had an old am3 gigabyte board, amd 1090T, 8gb 1600 ddr3(max the board would support), and an msi gtx1060 id="hidden9" class="buttons"> 6gb. This was an ibuypower lower end pre-built my wife got me a little over 10 years ago that reached the end of its' upgrade path. I decided to go with the 5600g as a dedicated cpu due to where it landed in pricing vs performance. Now my poor old 1060 is the bottleneck, but hey, it still plays most games I own just fine, especially since I'm at 1080p. I went with an msi tomahawk II, 16gb corsair vengeance 3600 ram, and a cx-650m psu(the 11 year old $20 Chinese one that ibuypower used was making me nervous).
I always wanted to build my own pc, and finally at 42 years old, I basically did. The only reused part is the case and the storage.(waiting for an m.2 ssd upgrade).

@1967davethewaveمنذ 3 سنوات Thanks for this build. I just finished building a computer with a Ryzen 5600X. It's my first build. My 15 year old son thinks it's the coolest id="hidden23" class="buttons"> thing ever so I wanted to get him the components to build his own as a Christmas present. He plays a lot of Minecraft and a little GTA 5. I figured I would get him a 5600G and when prices come back down on GPU's he can earn some money and upgrade. I was choosing components but after this video I just went and bought everything you suggested. The 5600G from Amazon was sold out so I paid $10 more from one at New Egg and I also spent a few dollars more for a case with ARGB fans to make it look really cool for him. But the total cost was only $570 and now he'll have something really good for now that he can eventually upgrade without spending too much. ....وسعت 6

@TheRealMalakaiمنذ 3 سنوات I’m really liking these FPS findings for 5600G vs. 5600X, both when applying GPU!
I was comparing single- and multi-core benchmark performances on Passmark, Cinebench, Geekbench 5 across legitimate benchmarking sites among users and also noticed the % differences between 5600X and 5600G seemed marginally too low to justify the former option’s higher cost, especially for budget builders who want to start tinkering now.
Since my approach was mostly analytical/theoretical, I’m glad to see how those numbers translated into actual performance in games to confirm what I was seeing.
Cost minded gamers/enthusiasts really can’t go wrong with trying these new six core APU’s like you suggested, especially if they’re considering gaming AND streaming down the road. I’m buying one for sure haha, thanks again for the info !

@45enoالعام الماضي The gen3 issue with GPU’is generally a non issue when the gpu is 16x. But RX6600XT are only Gen4 8x so pairing it at 8x Gen3 is enough of a issue to give you much less performance in games like Doom Eternal. People with gen3 systems should either go 3060/3060ti or RX6700 as they are all 16x which will give you enough bandwidth even on gen3. ....وسعت 5
