2009 Aston Martin DB9 - Redline Restorations

The Aston Martin DB9 is the ultimate collaboration of grand touring comfort and sheer performance. Tucked underneath the sleek nose is a 5.9L V12 capable of 470 HP from factory. This coupe is finished in Solent Silver with a Caspian Blue interior seat, carpeting, and trim. There are very few modern performance vehicles that offer a 6-speed manual with a V12 motor, making this a great future collectible candidate. Several key cosmetic and performance upgrades were made to the second generation DB9. New engine bay struts and new under-body panels increased chassis stiffness and rigidity by roughly 20%. This makes for a more planted feel in corners, and offers greater protection to the occupants. The stopping power was greatly increased with standard Brembo Carbon Ceramic discs and calipers from the factory. The discs are cross-drilled to help keep the disc surfaces clean and cool. A newly designed hood and front bumper construction increased airflow past the discs to also assist with cooling. This particular example has modified with a Quicksilver performance exhaust and an ECU upgrade. Over 500 horsepower is now delivered to the rear wheels. There are few sounds that can match a naturally aspirated V12. The rare factory 6-speed manual transmission makes for a more connected driving experience, and there is no lack of power anywhere in the power band.
