Dalia /wheat porridge /oat /barley /meetha daliya /sweet porridge recipe
Ingredients
3-4 tbs ghee
Cardamom 3
Barley or porridge 2 cups
Water 3 jugs or 12 glasses
Sugar 5 tbs or as per taste
Method
Heat the ghee or oil in pan then add 3 cardamom in it. After that add 2 cups of porridge or barley. Cook it for 6 to 7 minutes until the barley changes its colour. Then add 3 jugs or 12 glasses of water. Cover the lid and cook it for 30 minutes. Add sugar in it according to your taste cook it until the porridge or dalia becomes soft and thick. It is ready to eat.
