How to: Cocoa Butter Cream: Raw, All Natural for Skin, Hair and Nails

I found that I didn't really like the consistencies of butters on my skin. I had always wanted more of a mousse/lighter consistency for my hair and skin. So I came up with this DIY, cocoa butter cream that's 100%, all purpose and all natural! You can now purchase this cream from my shop here: https://hellococovado.com/product/cocoa-butter-cream-16oz/ Ingredients: • 1 - 1/2 lb of organic cocoa butter (for a heavier mixture, use no more than 2lb) • 3/4 cups of extra virgin olive oil • 3/4 cups of jojoba oil • 3/4 cups of castor oil • 1 cup of extra virgin, cold pressed coconut oil • 2-3 tbsp of vitamin E oil • 1 tsp of peppermint oil Directions: 1. Grate your cocoa butter into medium - small shavings if necessary 2. Measure out each of your oils (olive, coconut, castor and jojoba) and place them at tne side 3. Start by adding 1/3 of all oils and add to the blender, then adding 1/3 of your cocoa butter 4. All to be blended 90% through (I used a medium-medium high speed on my blender for about 10 - 15 minutes) 5. Repeat this process till all oils and butter is used 5 1/2: (Optional) If you do not fancy the little pieces of cocoa butter left in your cream, you can strain them out, and have an awesome mousse consistency 6. Store in clean dry glass containers if possible 7. Clean up!
