Back in early mid-December 2019, as part of my "4th Quarter 2019" Food Challenge Tour, I flew from Tampa, Florida up to Cleveland, Ohio so I could attempt 4 delicious food challenges around the Toledo and Cleveland, Ohio areas. For challenge #1, I went to downtown Toledo, Ohio location of Balance Pan-Asian Grill. There are multiple locations around Toledo and Cleveland. We helped them kick off their new "Bang Bang" Spicy Pan-Asian Food Challenge which featured something from each main part of their menu. I had just 10 short minutes to finish a trio of 3 tacos, a portion of nachos, and one of their Indian Budda (Buddha) Bowls, and each was covered with Balance Grille's spicy Bang Bang Sauce (12 oz total). They gave me a Budda Bowl - Spicy India inspired Butter Sauce, served with chickpeas, red onions, tomatoes, cilantro, and fresh sprouts. – Each item is covered with Bang Bang Sauce and there is around 12 oz of it total. – There is a super quick 10 minute time limit to finish everything. You are only allowed to drink water. – You must also survive a 5 minute "afterburn" period without drinking anything or getting sick. – The meal is not technically free, but winners get a $50 Gift Card which can be used to pay for the meal. Winners also get their name and photo posted on the location's Wall of Fame!! – This challenge be for events only.
