Yamaha-FM vs. S3-FM - High Octane: Amazon Delta Turnpike (OPL3)

Hello friends, in todays video we compare the Yamaha YMF262 OPL3-FM with the S3-FM from S3 82C617 PCI-soundcard - a quite unknown and rare soundcard that did not gain much attention when it was released in the late 90s. I think it is remarkable that S3 engineered an own FM-core fore this card, and therefore i like to credit them. Surely it woud've been much easier to integrate a licensed (or unlicensed) FM-core from another company like Yamaha. The result is a very special sounding FM that isn't close to the Yamaha OPL3 but a very unique and interesting sound in my opinion. But what do you think? Let me now in the comment section.
