@Miskatonic-Universityمنذ 2 سنوات Decent miners will dust off and regularly change thermal paste and pads regularly. I actually prefer those cards to stock ones, so I don't have to id="hidden1" class="buttons"> change them myself. Mem temperatures and stock pads are a disgrace in most RTX 3xxx models, few exceptions aside. ....وسعت 31

@penn2093منذ 2 سنوات Most miners will take very good care of their cards. Realistically it’s only a small few who never care for their cards which increase the likelihood of a card failing. 46

@dutch-nature-history-bydroneقبل 4 أشهر Mining cards are like frequent use second hand cars. They maybe have more mileage (usage) but were operating at the same temperature all the time which is way better then 2 hours a day. 1

@upfront2375العام الماضي A shortened lifespan silicon will struggle to keep the same clocks at the safe temp. (Around 80c). SO it will thermal throttle in a least.
It could id="hidden4" class="buttons"> still last 1 more month to maybe 5 years more, U can never tell!
They usually sell them with either a new flash bios (down clocked) or be put into their less stronger bios switch (if they have one)

@johnrehakمنذ 2 سنوات I dont trust those fairytales about how miners clean up theyr mining rigs even more than players. Hell no. I know 2. One with 2 rigs one with 3. I asked id="hidden5" class="buttons"> them how they clean up the dust. Both of them independently sayd air compressor once in 6 months. I asked them how about thermal paste and pads. They do it once in two years. I beleave 98% of miners do it that way. Those gpus are just tool to make money. They must be running online 24/7/365, not be offline on maintance for several days.
I myself would buy such gpu for 1/3 price of a new one. The risk of failure of those cards is too high after 2 year of industry workload of 24/7/365 which are these cards are not made for.
