Memaloose Peak

Located in Manning Park area in BC. Trailhead is at Allison Pass, which is 50.7 kilometers from Exit 177 on Highway 1. We followed Memaloose Trail, another trail to Poland Lake. We were on Memaloose Trail for 1 hour and 40 minutes before leaving it for the peak. A little bit bushwhacking and route finding before gaining the ridge. 3 hours and 45 minutes after leaving our car, we stood on the peak. It was sunny and windless. We did not feel cold though it was -7 degrees. We originally planned to do another peak nearby. Since we wanted to go home earlier for the work on Monday, we stopped at Memaloose Peak. I should say it is not easy to follow Memaloose Trail in winter time. We lost the trail in and out! Car2car 7 hours including all breaks. 15 kilometers totally.
