Koe no Katachi: How We Communicate | A Silent Voice Analysis

Koe no Katachi is about communication, first and foremost. It's a sensuous experience dedicated to the instinctual, complex ways we respond to ourselves and the world around us. Director Naoko Yamada beautifully captures the shape of voice, not by what is said, but what's unsaid. A film I nearly died waiting to get my hands on, Koe no Katachi perfectly expresses what I look for in the medium.
