Palm Trees in Nubia النخيل في النوبة

يستعرض الفيلم الدور الحضاري للنخيل في أرض النوبة وأهميته عند النوبيين وأهم أنواعه التي كانت تزرع بالنوبة مع إبراز تاريخ زراعته في النوبة منذ القدم حتى الآن. كما يستعرض الفيلم النخيل كمصدر أساسي في حياة النوبيين والذي يُصنع منه أدواتهم المنزلية من أطباق الخوص والمكانس والمقاطف والليف الذي يصنع منه الحبال. كما يستخدم خشب النخيل العجوز في صناعة أسقف البيوت . Palm trees are the source of life for the Nubians. The film reviews the importance of palm trees to the Nubians and the main varieties that grow in Nubia. It also highlights the history of planting palm trees since time immemorial. The Nubians use them to make domestic utensils such as palm-leave plates and implements for picking fruit while using the fibers to make strong ropes. They also build the roofs of their homes from the wood of old palm trees. Palm trees have created civilization and a way of life in Nubia.
