The Intentioned Photograph Ben Ashley

Looking at the work of photographer and teacher Ben Ashley, and exploring how photographs shot with intention make a difference to outcome. Especially suited to GCSE and A-Level students of Visual Arts. The presentation looks at how we make connections with our own experiences to build stories in and from what we see, discussing how even the ordinary can be extraordinary. A brief reference to Robert Frank, and lots of ideas relating to Truth and Beauty in the visual; the film asserts a sense of visual poetry.
