UN: Over half of South Sudan’s population faces starvation | Al Jazeera English

The United Nations says the number of people in South Sudan who do not know where their next meal is coming from has risen to an alarming level. A new report says 60 percent of the population of the war-torn country now totally depend on handouts and half of them are on the brink of starvation.
