A JCpenny SSB CB Yup It's The 6247. A Very Rare CB From The Early 80's And It Works. Sort Of.

I picked up this odd little radio from a literal bucket it was sitting in at a yard sale. It's a SSB radio, and I had never heard of a JCpenny CB let alone a SSB model until now. I knew that Sears got into the CB game for a short while, but this is the only one of these I'll likely ever see. It's obvious that it was used and abused back in the day, and then appears to have been left out in the garage to collect dust for 20+ years. I was able to clean it up and get it to work well enough to make a contact or two before passing it on to someone via Ebay.
